Scotty McKay brought burst, versatility, and big-play juice to Air Force
In the 2000 season, Scotty McKay was a compact, multi-use weapon for Air Force, contributing as a runner, receiver, and returner while flashing occasional home-run speed, including a 100-yard rushing game vs. Army and a 40-yard touchdown run vs. UNLV. Over his Air Force career, he logged 1,396 rushing yards and 11 rushing TDs, plus 459 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs, which tells you he was more than a straight-ahead fullback type. For a service-academy offense, that kind of versatility and toughness is pure gold.
