Houston’s steady long-snapping anchor with veteran size and reliability
Norbie Juist profiles as a classic under-the-radar special-teams piece for Houston: a 6-4, 240-pound long snapper from Houston who brought veteran experience and continuity to the roster. In Houston’s 2007 and 2008 roster/season materials, he is listed as the Cougars’ LS and a junior with local roots, and team stats show he appeared in all 13 games in the 2007 season[1][3][13]. That combination of durability, familiarity with the program, and specialized value makes him the kind of player coaches trust even when the stat sheet stays quiet[1][13].
