Ckyler Tengler is turning Arkansas State’s rotation into a highlight reel
In the 2026 season, Arkansas State right-hander Ckyler Tengler has flashed legitimate ace upside, capped by a nine-inning no-hitter against Little Rock with no walks and nine strikeouts, then carried that momentum into summer ball where he was among the Northwoods League’s strikeout leaders and named Pitcher of the Year. The big differentiator: he misses bats, attacks the zone, and has the poise to dominate without wasting pitches. At 6-5, he looks like a durable, high-upside arm who fits a team that values strike-throwing, competitiveness, and swing-and-miss stuff.
