Trevin Watson gives Texas Southern a poised, high-upside QB option with little public stat trail
Trevin Watson’s public profile is thin, but that usually means the real story is still being written: Texas Southern lists him as a 6-3, 197-pound redshirt junior quarterback for the 2026 preseason, which suggests a mature frame and developmental runway rather than a finished product. The best fit read here is upside and steadiness—if he wins snaps, it’s likely because coaches trust his command, composure, and fit in the system more than flashy stat volume. For a team needing a dependable QB room presence with room to grow, he’s intriguing.
