Clutch Monarchs Guard with Buzzer-Beater Magic
Troy Nance, the 5-10 senior point guard for Old Dominion, averaged 3.4 PPG, 1.8 RPG, and a team-high 4.2 APG in his career NCAA stats, shining as a playmaking floor general with 1.1 SPG. His differentiator? Ice-cold clutch gene—nailed a 45-foot buzzer-beater 3 to force OT in a 94-92 upset win over Virginia Tech (12/4/03), plus a CAA Player of the Week nod after a 18-point, 7-assist, 4-steal explosion. Ideal for teams needing a gritty, high-IQ leader who thrives in chaos, though his 30.3% FG limits scoring upside.
