Evan O’Neill is a live arm on the rise for Indiana
In the 2026 season, redshirt sophomore RHP Evan O’Neill flashed real relief upside for Indiana: he appeared in six games, struck out at least one batter in every outing, and finished with five straight scoreless appearances before the season ended. The 6-foot-4, right-handed thrower brings a starter’s frame and a strikeout-friendly feel, and Indiana’s notes show he can miss bats while handling leverage in short stints. The biggest selling point? He already shook off an injury-wiped 2025 and looks like a pitcher trending up fast.
