Justin Pride brings steady lead-guard play and disruptive defense for Bakersfield
Justin Pride is a low-usage, pass-first guard who gives Bakersfield dependable floor organization and real defensive disruption; in the 2016-17 season he averaged 3.9 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game, and later reached a CSUB Division I single-game record with 12 assists in a WAC semifinal vs. Seattle U. His game profile points to a smart connector who can run offense, pressure the ball and create extra possessions—useful for a team that values discipline, toughness and unselfish play.
