Heath Howard brings veteran versatility and special-teams value to Montana State's secondary
Howard is a senior defensive back for Montana State who has been most valuable as a steady special-teams contributor and reserve safety, not as a flashy stat-line producer. The key differentiator is reliability: Montana State lists him as a five-year Bobcat who earned a most-improved defensive award in 2010, then developed into a trusted depth piece with 2011 and 2012 tackle production and a reputation as a team-first, multi-sport athlete from Plentywood. He fits best for teams that want toughness, experience, and low-maintenance competitiveness in the back end.
