Eli Abaev brings veteran rebounding, positional size, and steady two-way glue to FGCU
In the 2020-21 season at FGCU, Eli Abaev averaged 7.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks per game, giving the Eagles a big, reliable frontcourt presence with real board-grabbing value[1][3]. At 6-foot-8, he fit as a power forward/center and consistently showed up in the stat sheet without needing high usage, which is usually a good sign for a team that wants toughness, interior work, and low-drama efficiency[1][2]. If your team needs a rugged, experienced forward who rebounds, defends, and plays within the system, Abaev is the kind of worker-bee fit coaches tend to love[1][15].
