Jaxsen Spears is Morehead State’s steady, high-IQ anchor up front
A veteran offensive lineman for Morehead State, Spears has built his reputation on reliability, leadership, and consistency rather than flash. In the 2022 season, he played and started every game, helped the Eagles average 338 yards per contest, and graded out at 82% while handling center and guard duties; by 2024, he had become the first MSU player ever to earn first-team Academic All-PFL honors four straight years, a strong clue to his discipline and football IQ. He’s the kind of lineman coaches trust to stabilize a front and set the tone.
