Shani Grey brings veteran guard depth and steady backcourt presence for Virginia Tech
Shani Grey is a Virginia Tech guard whose current stat line is modest, with 2.1 points, 0.5 assists, and 0.5 steals per game, but her value is better understood as depth, experience, and readiness to fill a role rather than as a primary scorer.[1][2] Her profile suggests a low-usage guard who can contribute without forcing offense, which can matter on a team that needs composure and positional flexibility.[1][2] If you want a high-upside lead creator, she is not that; if you want a dependable guard who fits into a structured system, she looks like a sensible roster fit.[1][2]
