Bucknell Safety with Limited Playing Time Due to Injury
Mac Atkins, a safety from Rochester, New York, has faced significant obstacles in his Bucknell career. Entering the 2017 season, the junior had appeared in just 3 games due to a season-ending injury that sidelined him throughout 2016. While his talent and athleticism show promise for the position, his injury history raises durability concerns. Atkins represents a developmental prospect who needs to prove he can stay healthy and contribute consistently at the FCS level before attracting serious attention from higher-level programs.
