Grambling freshman Cayson Hill brings compact, disruptive DL energy
In the 2026 season, Cayson Hill is a freshman defensive lineman for Grambling State listed at 5-foot-11, 256 pounds, and he already logged a tackle in early-season action, which suggests he’s getting on the field quickly for the Tigers[1][4][8]. His profile points to a low-center-of-gravity interior presence: short-area power, leverage, and toughness over pure size, plus the kind of “first team all-district” pedigree that hints at consistency and coachability[8][11]. If your team wants a high-motor, inside-gap defender with room to grow into a sturdier run-stopper, Hill is worth a close look[1][8].
