Gina Van Loon brings a steady backcourt edge to Saint Mary’s
Gina Van Loon profiles as a guard who can add composure, ball-handling and perimeter stability to Saint Mary’s, making her most valuable as a connective piece rather than a pure volume scorer. I could not verify reliable, athlete-specific 2025-26 stat lines or rankings from the available sources, so the clearest read is that her appeal would come from guard skills, fit, and consistency in the Gaels’ system rather than headline numbers. If your team needs a disciplined, low-drama guard who can keep an offense organized, she is the type of player worth watching.
