Alex Benevento is Brown’s on-base engine with pop and clutch contact
In the 2026 season, Brown outfielder Alex Benevento emerged as one of the Ivy League’s most productive hitters, ranking among the league leaders in batting average, slugging, on-base percentage, hits, runs, and RBIs while posting a .304 average, 49 hits, 33 RBIs, 17 extra-base hits, and 5 stolen bases across 43 games/starts. He brings a compact, physical 5-foot-10, 200-pound right-handed profile, plus a reputation for steady on-base ability dating back to a 15-game streak, and he’s already flashed game-changing power with a three-run homer and other big RBI swings. If you want a line-drive bat who can grind at-bats and punish mistakes, he’s a strong fit.
