Joseph Freeland brings veteran size and proven ball skills to MTSU’s secondary
A long, physical corner at 6-foot-2 and about 199 pounds, Joseph Freeland already has a track record of production and experience, including nine starts at Ashland in 2021 with 22 tackles, one interception, and seven pass breakups. He fits the profile of a disruptor who can match up with bigger receivers, and his calling card is coverage instincts with enough length to contest throws at the catch point. The best fit is a team that values mature, assignment-sound defensive backs with sneaky playmaking upside.
