James Douglas brings depth and steady linebacker snaps to Middle Tennessee
James Douglas is a rotational LB for Middle Tennessee whose value shows up in reliability rather than splash plays: in the 2023 season, he played in nine games, logged 29 total snaps, and finished with two tackles, including a solo stop in the win over FIU. His profile suggests a dependable, assignment-sound defender who can help on special teams and in depth roles, but the current stat line does not yet show starter-level production. He looks like a fit for a team that wants a disciplined, hard-nosed linebacker willing to do the dirty work.
