Experienced Nevada DB with a lean, coverage-first profile
Cory Smith is a senior cornerback/DB for Nevada who brings a proven, well-built frame at 6-1, 175 and the kind of length teams like in coverage.[2][7] His appeal is less about gaudy stat lines and more about projectability: he fits the mold of a versatile defensive back who can match up with receivers, stay competitive on the perimeter, and give a secondary some maturity and stability.[2][7] If you want a developmental defensive back with size and experience, Smith is worth a look; if you need instant splash-production, his value is more in role reliability than headline-grabbing numbers.[2][7]
