Interior disruptor with early playmaking pop
Dutton Watson is a North Texas defensive tackle who has already flashed real disruptive ability, recording 1.5 sacks and an interception in five games of action for the Mean Green.[3] At 6-3 and 250 pounds, he was a two-star prospect out of Midland, so his value is in production and effort more than hype: he has shown he can penetrate, finish plays, and make a timely turnover play when the ball bounces his way.[2][3] For a roster looking for a developmental interior defender with upside, Watson is a name worth watching.[1][3]
