Troy Vincent gives Towson a versatile, former DB-to-LB playmaker with real tackling pedigree
Troy Vincent’s Towson profile shows a rare positional journey: he developed as a defensive back before moving to linebacker, which suggests range, coverage comfort, and a feel for space that many pure linebackers don’t have. Towson’s roster lists him as a redshirt senior linebacker/running back in 2019, but the available public record here does not provide current 2026 game stats or injury updates, so the biggest takeaway is fit: if you need a disciplined, multi-role defender with defensive IQ and special-teams value, he’s the kind of athlete who can make your room tougher and smarter.
