Oregon State Legend Turned Elite Program Builder at MSU
Jonathan Smith, the former Oregon State Beavers QB who threw for 7,253 yards and 41 TDs (2nd all-time at OSU) from 1998-2001, resurrected the program as OC with a record-setting offense averaging 31.2 PPG and 6.4 yards per play in his tenure, proving his dual-threat smarts and resilience. Now thriving as Michigan State's head coach (3-1 early 2025 per reports), his player-first intensity, big-play innovation (32 plays over 25 yards in his final OSU stretch), and proven winner mentality make him a perfect fit for teams seeking a dynamic, battle-tested leader who turns around programs.
