Adam McConathy brings playmaking punch and big-time tackling tone for Louisiana Tech
McConathy profiles as a disruptive, instinctive linebacker with production that shows up in splash plays: in 2002 he earned Louisiana Tech’s defensive player of the week after an 11-tackle outing with three tackles for loss, two pass breakups and an interception. [1] His differentiator is range plus play recognition — he can finish at the line, affect throws underneath, and create turnovers, which makes him a fit for teams that value a physical, assignment-sound linebacker who can also make game-changing plays.
