Ryan Van Eyck is a 6'6" guard for UIW whose biggest selling point is obvious: rare size for the perimeter plus legitimate international experience, including 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists per game at the 2023 FIBA U18 European Championships and a role for the Netherlands at the 2024 FIBA U20s. In his 2024-25 UIW season, he was a limited-use freshman, averaging 1.0 point and 0.5 rebounds in 6 games, so the appeal is projection rather than production. If you want a long, developmental wing-guard with ball skills and upside, he’s intriguing; if you need instant offense, he’s not that guy yet.
