Josh Boutte brings low-post muscle, rebounding punch to Sam Houston
Boutte profiles as a physical F/C whose calling card is **rebounding, interior efficiency, and rim protection**—at Sam Houston, he had a 12-point, 12-rebound, 2-block outing in a road win over McNeese, and his earlier community-college resume showed 16.0 points and 11.7 rebounds per game as a sophomore. He also shot **61.6%** from the field in his Sam Houston stint, which signals a reliable finisher around the basket. If your team needs size, toughness, and a paint-first role player rather than a perimeter creator, he’s a strong fit.
