Logan Wenzel gives Saint Peter’s a lefty captain with proven bounce-back value
Logan Wenzel is a senior left-handed pitcher for Saint Peter’s who was named a 2026 team captain, and that leadership role signals trust in both his makeup and his on-field presence.[2] He missed the 2025 season due to injury, but he returned to contribute in 2026, including a win over Lafayette on April 15, 2026, where he worked 1.1 relief innings, allowed one hit and one run, and struck out three.[2][4][7] The big selling point: a competitive, high-trust arm who has already been tested by adversity and still earned a captain’s badge—exactly the kind of resilient fit teams love.[2]
