Drake’s veteran guard Chris McDonnell gives the Bulldogs a steady interior anchor
Chris McDonnell is listed as an offensive lineman for Drake, and the main takeaway is reliability: guards like him are valued for consistency, leverage, and keeping the pocket and run game clean rather than piling up flashy stats. The available roster information confirms he’s part of Drake’s 2026 football group, but there isn’t public season stat-tracker data here for an offensive guard, so the best read is role-based: he looks like a trench guy who can help a team with physicality, communication, and week-to-week steadiness.
