veteran stretch forward who gave Missouri State scoring punch
In the 2019-20 season, Lamont West was a reliable senior for Missouri State, averaging 9.5 points and 3.9 rebounds in 33 games with 19 starts, and he scored in double figures 16 times[1][6]. His calling card was spacing the floor as a 6-8 forward, while his 91.2% free-throw shooting hinted at real touch and late-game dependability[6][10]. He also arrived as a preseason All-MVC pick and Missouri Valley newcomer, which tells you coaches expected him to matter right away[1][10]. If you want a mature, versatile forward who can stretch defenses and bring veteran polish, he was a smart fit.
