Indiana State’s Intense, Data-Driven DL Anchor with 2024 FCS Breakout
Tyshon Waller, a 6-3 defensive lineman for the Indiana State Sycamores, stands out not just for his 2024 FCS stats but for his relentless intensity, film-study discipline, and leadership that elevates the entire defensive unit. Unlike typical DLs, Waller combines elite lateral quickness with a rare ability to read offensive formations pre-snap, making him a perfect fit for teams prioritizing strategic depth over raw size. With no major injury history and a personality marked by quiet confidence and team-first mentality, he’s a high-upside prospect for any roster seeking a reliable, data-driven anchor who thrives under pressure.
