Will Towns brings depth, special-teams value, and proven program familiarity to Wake Forest
Will Towns’ value at Wake Forest is less about flashy box-score volume and more about reliability, versatility, and toughness: in 2022 he logged 12 carries for 71 rushing yards, contributed on kick returns, and made five tackles on special teams while earning All-ACC Academic Team recognition; in 2023 he appeared in four games, suggesting a depth role rather than headline production. That profile makes him a fit for teams that prize a physical, assignment-sound back who can help in multiple phases and do the unglamorous work coaches trust.
