Promising LB with Limited Spotlight at Charleston Southern
Edward King, a 6-1, 202-pound outside linebacker for the Charleston Southern Buccaneers, showed flashes of athleticism in the 2021 season with game-by-game stats highlighting his speed and tackling ability against FCS competition, though detailed sack or tackle leadership numbers remain sparse. His differentiator is raw versatility from high school recruiting hype (247Sports tracked his Hallandale, FL roots), transitioning from OLB to potential coverage specialist—perfect for teams needing intense, high-motor depth players without injury red flags. Care because he's an under-the-radar gem for developmental programs; ideal fit for mid-major or Power 4 special teams elevation.
