Brandon Mangram Brings Experienced, Physical Depth to UMass’s Secondary
Mangram is an experienced cornerback who has shown he can contribute in multiple defensive settings, including a 33-tackle season with seven starts at Davenport and a state-championship background at Buford. He profiles as a physical, willing tackler with real game reps, which matters for teams that value reliable depth and defensive toughness over flash. The main question is upside: his listed college production at UMass has been limited, so he looks more like a steady, scheme-aware fit than a proven lockdown playmaker.
