Cooper Ashby brings strikeout upside and bullpen flexibility to Wright State
In the 2026 season, Wright State RHP Cooper Ashby has shown useful bullpen value with a 6.59 ERA, 14 strikeouts, and a win in 13.2 innings, and he’s already been trusted in leverage spots. The 6-foot-4 righty from Georgetown, Texas, gives off the classic high-upside college arm vibe: long frame, right-handed power, and enough mound trust to be used in tight games. He looks like a fit for teams wanting size, arm strength, and development potential more than finished polish.
