Owen Smith is a contact-driven Privateers outfielder with a recent bat-to-ball surge
Smith is a New Orleans outfielder whose biggest value right now is recent offensive momentum and plate-to-ball consistency, with Elite Prospects showing 4 assists in his last 5 games and 10 in his last 10 games, though the data available is sparse and New Orleans lists no official season stats yet. He looks like the type of fit teams want for reliable at-bats and run creation rather than loud tools, but there’s not enough verified information here to confirm power, speed, or defensive impact beyond roster status.
