a proven, efficient guard with real Furman veteran value
Taylor Petty’s Furman profile points to a seasoned guard who gives teams steady two-way backcourt reliability, with a track record of efficient scoring and poise under pressure; in the 2019-20 season, she averaged 8.8 rebounds per game and shot 81.0% from the free-throw line, rare touch indicators for a guard, while earlier game logs show she could chip in timely points and defensive disruption. She also brings strong pedigree from Presbyterian and Furman, plus the kind of experienced, low-drama leadership that coaches usually love in a rotation guard.
