Lehigh P Daniel Simpson: Reliable Leg, Academic Standout
Daniel Simpson’s calling card is consistency and field position: in 2021, he punted in all 11 games for Lehigh, averaging 38.5 yards per kick, landing 15 punts inside the 20, and uncorking a 61-yard long. He also showed early-career versatility in spring 2021 with a 40.3-yard average and four more punts inside the 20, while earning Patriot League Academic Honor Roll recognition. The fit is straightforward: if you want a dependable specialist with proven placement ability, occasional big-leg upside, and a strong work ethic, Simpson checks the boxes.
