physical Maryland linebacker with production upside
Jeff Clement has been a productive, high-effort linebacker for Maryland, bringing tackling volume, run support, and a willingness to do the dirty work that coaches value in a defensive leader. In his Maryland career bio, he has logged seasons with 79 tackles and 69 tackles, plus backfield disruption with nine tackles for loss and two sacks, suggesting a player who can impact both inside the box and behind the line of scrimmage.[4] He looks like a fit for teams wanting a tough, assignment-sound LB who can contribute immediately on physicality and consistency rather than flash.
