LMU's Sophomore Pitching Ace with Team-Best 1.87 ERA and No-Hitter Contributor
Angela Carrera, a sophomore pitcher for Loyola Marymount, delivers elite performance with a team-best 1.87 ERA across 33.2 innings, 22 strikeouts, and a 2-2 record in the 2026 season. Her differentiators include unmatched intensity—keeping opponents scoreless through four innings even in losses—and the ability to collaborate in high-stakes no-hitters, as seen in the 3-0 shutout vs. Cal Baptist. Beyond stats, she’s a disciplined All-Academic Honorable Mention athlete, reflecting mental toughness and reliability. While she had a tough outing (1-2 loss vs. Weber St.), her resilience and lights-out starts make her a top fit for teams needing a calm, competitive pitcher who thrives under pressure.
