Reliable Double-Digit Scorer for MVSU Devilettes
A'Shanti Weathers, a 5-10 forward from Miami, FL, brings starter toughness and consistency to Mississippi Valley State, starting all 30 games in the 2014-2015 season with 7.5 PPG, 3.7 RPG, and 1.1 APG over 29.4 MPG despite modest 29.4% FG shooting. She erupted for a game-high 20 points (6-12 FG) in a 2013 NIU win and hit double figures eight times, showcasing scoring punch in the SWAC. Her rebounding grit and workhorse minutes make her a dependable mid-major fit for teams needing intense, versatile forwards who elevate in big moments—no injury red flags, pure hustle.
