Bauman entered the 2025-26 season as a sophomore guard after a freshman year in which he played 22 games and averaged 1.0 points in limited minutes, but his high school résumé suggests a much bigger offensive ceiling: he averaged 14.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists while shooting 49% from the field and 40% from three as a senior, and earned all-league and 3A all-state recognition.
