Aaron Benson brings veteran linebacker size and steady production to Houston Christian
In the 2025 season, Houston Christian senior linebacker Aaron Benson entered as a 6-2, 235-pound defender with real experience and a reputation for being a physical, assignment-sound presence in the middle of the defense. His recruiting background was solid—247Sports rated him a 4-star prospect and the No. 4 inside linebacker nationally in his class—which helps explain the upside evaluators have long liked. The appeal here is reliability: a thicker frame, inside-LB toughness, and a profile that fits a defense looking for a dependable run-stopper and communicator rather than just a splash-play hunter.
