Nick Rattin brings steady, trusted depth to NIU’s linebacker room
Rattin is a veteran NIU linebacker whose value goes beyond box-score stats: he earned a nod for the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team, which points to leadership, character, and commitment off the field, and he has been trusted as a defensive starter for the Huskies in past seasons. For a team, that makes him a good fit if you want a dependable, culture-positive linebacker who can handle responsibilities, communicate well, and add maturity to the defense rather than just chase highlight plays.
