Iowa’s reliable, high-IQ slot producer who outperformed the walk-on label
Easley was Iowa’s most dependable receiver in 2017 and 2018, finishing his Hawkeye career with 103 catches, 1,024 yards, and 9 touchdowns while leading the team in receptions both seasons.[5][6] His differentiators were toughness, consistency, and polished route-running more than pure size or burst: he measured 5-foot-11, 205 pounds and posted strong short-area testing at his pro day, including a 4.08-second shuttle and 6.72-second three-cone.[2][3] He also showed big-game composure, earning 2019 Outback Bowl MVP honors after an eight-catch, 104-yard, two-touchdown performance.[6]
