Long, experienced defensive back with veteran size and versatility
Robert Sawler is a long, 6-foot-3 defensive back who has carried notable bulk and experience through multiple seasons in the Abilene Christian program, which suggests the kind of physical, adaptable corner/safety hybrid coaches like for bigger matchups.[1][3] Public roster data shows he was listed at 221 pounds in 2019 after previously playing at 212 pounds, a sign of a player who has developed into a sturdier defensive piece rather than a pure cover-only corner.[1] There are no readily available season statistics in the sourced data, so the best read is his value profile: size, veteran familiarity, and likely matchup flexibility over headline-grabbing production.[1][3]
