Former High Point guard whose Panthers fit came from veteran depth and team-first poise
Matteo Bellusci is a former High Point guard best remembered as a steady, team-first backcourt piece who helped a Panthers squad that finished 16-15 and won the 2013-14 Big South North Division title. In the 2013-14 season, he was listed at 6-foot-3 and 170 pounds and appeared in the program’s roster as a redshirt sophomore, suggesting experience, maturity, and a role-player profile rather than a high-usage scorer. He looks like a fit for teams valuing size, continuity, and unselfish guard play more than flashy volume.
