Brooks Reed brought relentless edge pressure and veteran toughness to Arizona
Brooks Reed was a high-motor, quick-twitch defensive end who developed from a former high school running back into one of Arizona’s most disruptive edge players. In his 2010 senior season at Arizona, he earned first-team All-Pac-10 honors and finished with 47 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and 10 tackles for loss, then went on to post 17 career sacks and 25 tackles for loss for the Wildcats. What made him matter: effort, leverage, and a nasty pass-rush feel—not just box-score production. He also played through groin issues later in his career, which adds to the “tough as nails” profile.
