Arizona Wildcats Freshman WR with Explosive HS Pedigree, Not FIU DB
Gio Richardson, a dynamic 5'10" freshman wide receiver for the Arizona Wildcats, erupted for 21 receptions, 299 yards (14.2 avg), and 2 TDs in 12 games during the 2025 season—highlighting big-play ability with a 60-yard long. A Chandler Basha HS star (55 rec, 893 yds, 10 TDs as junior; state champs as senior), he's got elite speed, YAC prowess, and return skills (99-yard KO long). Note: No FIU/DB connection—brief 2022 stint there was pre-college. High-upside slot weapon with fiery competitor vibe; prime fit for pass-happy offenses needing separators.
