enough mystery to intrigue, not enough verified Beacons QB data to grade him cleanly
No reliable current 2026 performance profile for a Valparaiso Beacons quarterback named James Thomson could be verified here, and the available public hits point to a different James Thompson/Thomson prospect profile rather than Valpo’s roster. That means the smart take is cautious: don’t overread the name on the depth chart until game logs, roster listings, and recent reports confirm him. If he is the Beacons’ QB, the key fit questions are durability, command of the offense, and whether he brings steady decision-making under pressure rather than just arm talent.
