High-Motor Baylor LB with Academic All-Big 12 Pedigree
Colin Allred is a high-motor, energetic linebacker for Baylor who combines elite football intensity with the intellectual discipline of being a 2004 Second-Team Academic All-Big 12 honoree. His differentiators include quick reactions, solid footwork for chasing down opponents, and a reliable tackling style, though he must improve his play awareness and focus consistency. With no major injury history noted and a personality that balances athletic grit with academic rigor, Allred is a perfect fit for teams seeking a defensive player who brings both physical reliability and mental sharpness. You should care because he offers a rare blend of high-intensity defense and strategic thinking, making him an ideal rotational or occasional starter who elevates team culture.
