Memphis OG Jason Matthews: interior depth with upside if his power and consistency translate
Jason Matthews is a Memphis Tigers offensive guard worth watching because interior linemen who can anchor, communicate, and stay steady under pressure can quietly change a team’s run game and pass protection. I couldn’t verify reliable, athlete-specific public performance data for a Memphis football OG by this name in the available results, so the safest read is that his value would hinge on whether he shows consistent leverage, hand placement, and assignment discipline in camp and game reps. If he’s a physical, low-mistake blocker with durability, he’s the kind of fit coaches trust.
