Liberty freshman DL Xavier Reid brings compact, disruptive upside
Xavier Reid is a **5-11, 265-pound freshman defensive lineman** for Liberty who arrives with proven production from a championship high school program, including **104 tackles, 32 tackles for loss, 7 sacks, 12 quarterback hurries, 2 forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries** in his final prep season.[1][5] That profile points to a compact, high-motor interior defender who can create backfield chaos, not just occupy space.[1][5] He looks like a fit for teams that value leverage, toughness and disruption over pure size, though his NFL-style projection will hinge on how his explosive traits translate against stronger college fronts.[5][8]
